Kentucky Bourbon Pecan Pie

2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter, or margarine
1 cup corn syrup
2 tbl. bourbon
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 cup pecan halves or broken piece

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat sugar, butter, corn syrup, bourbon, salt and eggs in a large bowl with a hand beater. Stir in pecans.
Pour into pastry lined pie pan. Cover edge with 2-3 inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excess browning. Remove the foil during the last 15 minutes of baking. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until set. Refrigerate at least 2 hours until well chilled.
