2 cups Bran cereal
2-1/2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup melted butter
2 eggs
2-1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup raisins
Preheat oven to 400.
In a large bowl, mix together cereal & buttermilk. Let stand 5 minutes. Add melted butter & eggs. Blend well. Stir in flour, sugar, baking powder & salt & raisins. Mix well. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups that have been lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Fill cups 3/4 full. Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Serve warm.
